Discover How To Hypnotize Yourself

All over the world people are realizing the positive benefits of hypnotism. It can be performed as a means of ridding a person of thoughts that are clouding their mind, or just to unwind. It is possible for anyone to learn how to hypnotize yourself and here are the first steps to doing that.

Start by deciding what you want to achieve from your hypnosis session. Do you want to relax, or do you want to suggest something to your subconscious? Once you have done this either lay or sit down somewhere that you will not be disturbed. Then close your eyes and start to breathe deeply.

Relax all of your body. Do this by relaxing each part in turn, perhaps start at the soles of your feet and allow the relaxation to travel up the body. The first few times you do this it might take a while for you to totally relax - but do it enough and you will find that it comes easily as times passes. A lot of people liken this stage to feeling as though they are powerless to move almost.

Then start to count backwards from 10 to 1. Do not say this out loud. As you count each number be aware that you are relaxing even further. When you get to number 1 you should be highly relaxed and into a state of hypnosis. Now you can either just rest in this state or start to focus on what you would like to achieve.

Whilst you are there you can stay relaxed or you can begin to think about what you would like to be in your subconscious. The choice is yours. As soon as you want to be back in reality you should count from the number one up to the number ten. When you reach the number ten you need to tell yourself to wake up and be alert. Then you will have achieved self hypnosis - so do this when you can.
