FEAR & PHOBIAS

In my office, I receive and immense amount of clients with fear or phobias and the great majority of them distort issues creating patterns and habits that would make them do what they don’t want to do.

Usually, this is the result of going with something that is not real but that they believe on.

My work will relate to the conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind. I will be using deep levels of hypnosis and other techniques, as well as old and new elements of ancient wisdom (zen, meditation, etc.)

I will also use definitions (positive thinking) and regressive techniques (regressing to the childhood years, and other past experiences) in order to dissociate the old negative patterns and replace them with new healthy ones. In a sense, a kind of “chip replacement.”

Fear is felt over something dangerous and realistically menacing. Phobia is a persistent fear. It expresses as a persistent fear to something like an object, an animal, or an activity.

People suffering from a phobia will find their capacity to reason quite diminished. How is fear different from a phobia?

The cause of fear could be a reasonable one. In some cases, fear is originated as a response of defense.

The cause of the phobia is the fear of a fear, the distortion, and the association made over a pre-existing fear.

Phobia is a distortion from reality, where fear is a reaction from a concrete menacing reality.

If you suffer from phobia when you first come to see me I search for the original cause (generally originated during childhood).

A number of sessions will be then necessary to induce relaxation, disassociation and re-framing exercises.

During this process, you will understand how to separate what s real from what isn’t.

As sessions progress, you will start understanding what caused the phobia, and then will be able to see it and reason on what it is that originated it.

Only after a few sessions, you will start feeling refreshed and like new, with a clear definition of reality and a new approach to feeling secure and in charge of your life.*

LOW SELF ESTEEM

Self-esteem is the positive or negative evaluation of oneself, as in how we think and feel about our own being.

Our self-esteem is therefore configured by our own system of beliefs and emotions.

That means that the disposition we have towards our own judgments and sense of worthiness is crucial to create our sense of self-esteem.

The essence of good self-esteem is self-determination.
